mixing and preparing solid fuel used in rockets. |

Shroud Assembly |
|

This assembly is a composite weldment of MS and Stainless Steel (304L) material
and houses the planetary gearbox. There are 16 ports consisting of welded stainless
steel seamless pipes welded to the body and internal stainless steel cover to
contain the propellant material from the other areas of the shroud. |

the finished part is app. 10 tons.

Cradle Assembly & Base Plate |

This assembly consists of a weldment with four guide housings that will move on
vertical guide rods. The function of this assembly is to raise/lower the bowl
containing the propellant. |

base plate is also a part of this.

Planetary Gear Box Assembly |
 |
This assembly basically houses the planetary gear train that
imparts the rotational/orbital movement of the mixing blades. The assembly involves
accurate machining of bores located in the top and bottom covers to close accuracies
to ensure concentric rotation of the blades. |
